It all started with a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A, and some basic programs that, more often than not, failed to run. There was also a Commodore PET and a box of cassette tapes that you had to LOAD and wait and wait and wait. Along the way there was a Tandy and a Compaq with a noisy Miniscribe HD.

I dropped computers for a spell, but needed one again in university where I also ended up working for the on-campus computer store - that AMD 386DX40 was the stuff of legend.

DOS, Windows, OS/2, VAX, Netware, Linux, BSD… dipped my toes in many waters. Ended up making a career of it unexpectedly and now here I am and there you are.
